Q. In the past the British Empire exploited resources in other countries and treated people as slaves. I wasn't alive during the Scramble for Africa or the rule of India, so why should I grow up in a society swarmed with unsustainable immigration? As a sort of pennance? Pennance for what? Unsustainable immigration IS a problem and it WILL continue to destroy Britain. Whatever our past (although I think the empire was justified, I'm willing to say it wasn't for the sake of this question) we have a right to seek to avoid our country slipping further into decline.
