If you don't want to go through that you could look at a a motion control shoe that has a tendency to have more support through the middle of the foot. Its important to have the right running shoe. So I would go hand have them fitted properly by someone who knows hot to fit running shoes. Go into a store and tell the sales person you have a high arch and wish to have a good shoe to help support your high arch. If the sales person looks at you with a blank deer int he lights look you are in the wrong store. GET OUT and find another store.
